For vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike

New Zealand's biggest vegetarian event was held on October 9th with a record 5000 people attending.

After experiencing a difficult year with the devastating earthquakes and difficulties of a city with no CBD, the loss of our office and all our resources, the Christchurch Vegetarian Centre is proud that the Expo still went ahead and was such a success.

Thank you to all the volunteers and supporters and the NZVS who made this event possible. Thank you also to the Christchurch City Council who funded some of the day and to SAFE for their support and generous donation of Expo banners.

The 2012 Vegetarian Expo will be held on Sunday September 30th 2012,  the first Sunday of the next school holidays. Put this date in your diaries now. If you would like to exhibit or volunteer for this event, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you.

Come and celebrate World Vegetarian and World Animal Days at Christchurch's Vegetarian Food And Lifestyle Expo in 2012! Over 10,000 vegetarians live here and the Vegetarian Expo is our Big Day Out where all are welcome to come and share a vegetarian day with us.
